I Found My Dream Mom Bag: Mina Baie

Moms!! I found my dream bag!

It only took 5 years, 2 kids and a million bags for me to discover Mina Baie. After I became very vocal on social media about my search for the perfect bag, my friend sent me an email about a Mina Baie sample sale. She has their Harper backpack and loves it, so I decided to check out the site.

And then I found The Amelia Bag:

It’s a convertible bag, so it can be worn as a tote, crossbody or backpack. WISHLIST: CHECK!

It has so many interior pockets for water bottles and organization. WISHLIST: CHECK!

Since I love it so much and it doesn’t look like a diaper bag (WISHLIST: CHECK!), I don’t even need to carry an extra bag for my own stuff (WISHLIST: CHECK!). I literally bring this everywhere with me and when I take the kids out, I don’t even have to worry about packing a change of clothes or diapers, because it’s all already in there AND ORGANIZED!

I love that this bag is the shape of a tote, so it’s extra wide (WISHLIST: CHECK!) Most backpack diaper bags are built in height, not width, so a backpack shaped like the Amelia is rare.

One of the outside pockets has a key clip so I literally never have to remove my keys and will never lose them again. I can keep them attached to my bag while I unlock my house and car doors. (WISHLIST THAT I NEVER KNEW EXISTED: CHECK!). The other outside pocket holds my cell phone, so it’s secure and easily accessible.

It’s a little heavy filled–mine weighs 10 pounds– because it’s real leather! But I do carry every essential with me, from Benadryl and bandaids to water bottles and hand sanitizer, and even some toys and change of clothes for two kids.

I would like to see a nylon version, of course, because everything is lighter with nylon. I would also LOVE a vegan leather option for this bag because I always try to be animal friendly.

But for now, I will take and love this bag that I scored on a major sale! Husband, if you are reading this, I would like to stress the “sale” part again. Follow Mina Baie on Instagram and grab yours when prices drop. I got the black bag but I have my eye on the blush, too, for warmer months.
