Brighten up Rooms With Wood Paneling Using this Decor Tip

When I was planning my son’s bedroom decor, I was faced with a big challenge: the walls in his room are knotty pine paneling. We live in a former lake community cottage and every wall in our house has some form of wood paneling– horrible! We painted over all of the walls except for his room, because that’s the only room with actual real paneling and it would be annoying to paint. It’s actually kind of nice, but it’s dark and I wanted something to brighten up the walls.
